It’s 12:50am EST 2026-February 26th… Papa Tan is awake. He is peeing before going back to sleep. He drank half of a coconut water. It reminds him of his younger years in Singapore….
Why am I awake? I was worried about a long lost friend named Kate. I love this woman. She is an extraordinary mother who became a single parent… sound familiar?
Well that is not the truth…
I was actually trying to clean my new Tesla Model X (THANK YOU ELON) and I went down this rabbit hole of what should I clean it with? 91% alcohol? Why not right?
Then I wanted to record and create content. So I did here. Now this is not the video you think it might be. This is a video of me letting everyone know what is at stake and what is most precious to me. YES IT IS! AND I WILL PROTECT ALL OF IT WITH MY LIFE.
What you should know. I am armed. I do not miss. I hit 39 out of 40 in Army Basic Training at Fort Jackson, South Carolina.

I’ve had the honor of serving my two elderly parents who are both in the mid to late 80s and also my older brother. In my brief experience care giving these are my top 10 list to focus on:
- Eating
- Pooping
- Sleeping
- Mobility
- Water Quality – Whole House Carbon Filter / Water Softener for Florida’s hard water and mineral deposits / Kangen Water
- Air Quality
- Health / Medications / Appointments
- Exercise
- Sanitation
I support the family financially by taking us out to eat at Mama Tan’s favorite restaurants, ABC Seafood on 66th St in Kenneth City, St Petersburg area and the Ten Ten Seafood & Grill on W Colonial Dr in Orlando, Florida. Another great spot is the Volcano Hot Pot & BBQ in Kissimmee, Florida. I financially support the family through grocery shopping, any medical equipment i.e. Pure Wick external catheter system for Mama Tan so she doesn’t have to worry about getting up in the middle of the night to pee.
I support the family by keeping the home clean and organized as much as possible. I have the house cleaned twice a month so Mama Tan doesn’t try to. I do laundry for the house while Mama Tan is recovering from her femur injury. I have found peace folding clothes late at night while the rest of the family are hard asleep.
I cook, I sweep, I wash dishes all the old school way. I serve to my best ability to honor them, even when some may not deserve it. Papa Tan has always been a butt. Still is, only worse. He was a spoiled brat growing up and in his late 80’s he is even worse.
I have lost count how many times he wishes me dead from getting cancer or dead from a car wreck. Sometimes it’s more than 2 or 3 times within a short 10 minutes span. That wears on me and anyone. Yet I serve even when I should not. If you’re loved ones suffer from dementia, you know what I am talking about. For those that don’t, I say this to inform you and not to seek any pity for myself. I am giving you, the good, the bad, and the ugly.
